Recruiting Young Environmental Leaders For Greencorps!04 Nov 2008

The Shire of Busselton were successful in their application to host another GreenCorps team for six months, beginning at the end of December this year. GreenCorps is an Australian Government youth development and environmental training program for young people aged between 17 and 20 years. Any community landcare/NRM group needing assistance with on-ground works, including planting, weeding, trail maintenance/construction, fence construction, or anything else you can think of, will be able to utilise the team.

Recruiting young people to the team has begun. If you, or someone you know, is interested in conservation and the environment, wants hands-on experience and training, please contact Jolene Wallington on 9335-7322.
