Past Projects

Frogwatch
Details:The aims of the project were;
  • to produce a CD of frog species found in the Capel to Dunsborough area and make it available locally, and
  • to identify good 'froggy' spots so that people can be advised where they can go to listen and see different species of frogs.

    GeoCatch staff worked with Department of Conservation & Land Management research scientist Jim Lane to record frog calls from May to October over a three year period. A CD of local frog calls is also available.
