GeoCatch recently celebrated the retirement of Bev Thurlow. Bev has over 40 years of experience working in public service, 21 of those years as a member of the GeoCatch board.
GeoCatch Chair Vicky Winton thanked Bev for her tireless work for GeoCatch. “Bev has a stability of knowledge that spans many years. She also brought a sense of humanity and fun that inspired others to find value in what we do,” said Vicky.
Kath Lynch recognised the contributions that Bev has made to both DWER and GeoCatch for many years. “Bev has been an amazing mentor and an amazing support for staff in the Busselton office and South West region. She will be missed by many that she has worked with”, said Kath.
Bev responded to the well wishes from those present, saying that she is happy to embrace retirement. Bev is now looking forward to spending more time with her family and granddaughter and fitting in some more travel.
The board and staff of GeoCatch would like to thank Bev for all her hard work, help and support that she has provided during her career.
